The Federal Democratic Republic Nepal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. It is in South-Asia, and is surrounded by India and China. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. Nepal has a highly diverse and rich geography, culture, and religions. Nepal is truly the heaven of the earth. It's a place you should visit at least once in your life and here are some of the reasons:

1. Nepal is a mountainous country. Out of the world's top ten mountain eight mountain lies in Nepal including World's Highest pick Mt. Everest (8848 meter) and third highest pick Mt. Kanchenjunga.

2. Nepal is a country where Lord Buddha "The Light of Asia" was born 2500 years ago in a place is called "Lumbini" which is already in the list of World's Heritage.

Nepal

Its International Day For Street Children today. Can we stand with them, speak out for their rights? Lets do it as much as we can. #Nepal

 Anybody with basic education should know that “Lord Buddha” was born in Nepal and “Mount Everest is in Nepal”. (Nepal is a beautiful country which lies between India and China: Please check the world map which has a flag with “Moon” and “Su
n”)
If you ask general public, “Do you know where was Buddha born ? ” and “Do you know where is Mount Everest ?”. The immediate answer will be : In India because that is what the books published by so called historians had been saying or the modern world leaders are promoting.
Please do little research and you will know that Nepal is PROUD country with so much Natural resources, beautiful mountains, rivers, green trees, temples, stupas etc.
I am proud to be a Nepali and would request all the concerned officials and world leaders to stop “False Information” to the world.
Once again, “Lord Buddha was born at Rupandehi, Lumbini, Nepal” and “Mount Everest is in Nepal.”
Please let everybody know about it.

The national flag of Nepal is the world's only national flag that is non-quadrilateral in shape. The flag is a simplified combination of two single pennons, the vexillological word for a pennant. Its crimson red is the colour of the rhododendron, the country's national flower. Red is also the sign of victory in war. The blue border is the colour of peace. Until 1962, the flag's emblems, the sun and the crescent moon, had human faces. They were removed to modernize the flag. The faces remained on the sun and the moon on the Royal Standard until the abolition of the monarchy in 2008.
The flag was adopted, with the formation of a new constitutional government, on December 16, 1962. The individual pennants had been used for the preceding two centuries and the double pennant since the 19th century. The flag borrows the basic design from the original design, which has been in use for more than 2,000 years
